Poor Totter (Stiefel) didn’t gain any weight at all this week, but hasn’t lost any either.
He hasn’t gained any weight at all since he arrived twi weeks ago.
He’s exercising a lot more, so that partly declares it.
However, everyone agrees he’s looking a lot better; his coat is shiny and indeed, he is getting some buttocks!
So Totter has to start eating more of anything that fits in his mouth and is healthy for dogs now (sorry Totter: no more donuts, like the ones you stole from the kitchen counter last weekend J). At the clinic, he was spoiled rotten all day by all the staff. Everytime someone passed him, something accidentally fell into his mouth and all the leftovers from the special canfood, opened for the patients, was passed his way. He simply couldn’t believe his luck J We made a nice foodhamper for him for the weekend, containing lots of different cans of meat in many flavours and a powder to make porridge to help patient-recovery, called Convalescense. People sent me good recipies for healthy doggie treats (mostly through Facebook J) and I’ve added wholegrain pasta to his meals. All that’s left to buy is cubes mutton fat and then he should start to gain some weight. The menu won’t be the problem!
